Search a transaction in a statement

If you are looking for a particular transaction as entered or occurred in a bank account, you can find it either in an Account Statement or a Bank Statement (if bank statement has been downloaded to SlickPie account).

 

Searching a transaction in an Account Statement

Account Statement will list all the transactions as entered in SlickPie account whether it be the invoice/ bill payment or the expense incurred or any transfers done. This is where you can find a particular transaction as entered or to confirm whether or not it's being entered at all.

 

To search the entry in an account statement:


1. Go to Accounts and click Bank Accounts.

 

 

 

2. Select the bank account transaction occurred in and click Plus icon (+).

 

 

 

3. Go to Manage Account and click Account Statements.

 

 

 

4. Clicking Account Statement will open up the list of transactions that occurred till date.

 

 

 

5. You can simply search the transaction in question either using payee or the amount. This will bring up all the transactions till date irrespective of the date transaction occurred.

 

 

 

6. But if you are looking for transaction/s within a certain period of time, you can refine the search by selecting the From and To Date.

 

 

 

Please note In Account Statement you can search a transaction with payee or amount only.

 

 

 

Searching a transaction in a Bank Statement


Bank Statement will list all the transactions that occurred in a particular account whether in SlickPie or otherwise. To find a transaction in a bank statement, you have to download/ import the transactions from the bank first. Visit Bank Feeds to learn how to link the bank and import the transactions. Once you have imported the bank statement, to search follow the steps below.


1. Go to Accounts and click Bank Accounts.

 

 

 

2. Select the bank account transaction occurred in and click Plus icon (+).

 

 

 

3. Go to Manage Account and select Bank Statements.

 

 

 

4. Click the imported file where the transaction could be.

 

 

 

5.  Once the list is opened, you can search using a description, reference or amount. This will bring up all the transactions irrespective of the date transaction occurred.

 

 

 

Please note In Bank Statement you can search a transaction with a description, reference or amount.
